A streaming radio application, Nokia Music is built into the Lumia Windows Phone. Great for music lovers who want to take their playlists with them, Nokia Music allows for easy transfers between mobile devices and PCs.

Nokia Music is a part of a few elements that make up a complete music experience. The application itself acts as the middleman between the device where the music is being played and the Nokia Music Store. At the store, users can shop for their favorite music online, but purchasing music is not a requirement, just an option. The software does include ripping capabilities, so your favorite music from your favorite CDs can be uploaded to your music library without installing an additional program.

Once your Nokia Music library starts to take shape, the drag-and-drop feature of the app makes organizing that music easy. For an optimal experience, install the app on a touchscreen device, whether it's a Windows phone, tablet or computer. To play the music, just tap the Play Me button from your device. Pin the button to your home screen or tool bar, and the one-touch start-up plays your music instantly without tapping through a few screens.

With Nokia Music, users can listen to Nokia MixRadio for free and with unlimited mixes. The app gets to know your music tastes and will make recommendations, and if one of your favorite artists is in the area for a performance, you can choose to be notified.
